Awareness
Go backAn information booklet for schools and workplaces, classroom activities and “Remember a Child” campaign materials are ready.
Children with Leukemia Week, held every year on 2–8 November, is an opportunity to make children fighting leukaemia and their families visible, to explain why early diagnosis matters and to strengthen a culture of solidarity. Our foundation has prepared materials that schools and workplaces can use with ease throughout the week.
The information booklet explains in plain language what leukaemia is, its symptoms, the treatment process and how to approach a child with leukaemia. It offers ready answers for teachers, parents and employees.
The classroom activities include age-appropriate games, workshops and discussion questions. The aim is to help children develop understanding and empathy towards peers with leukaemia.
With the “Remember a Child” campaign, schools and workplaces can join the week using ready-made posters and social media visuals, and can organise their own solidarity events together with our foundation.
